Polling stations open for Kuwait’s National Assembly elections 

KUWAIT: Polling stations opened on Thursday in Kuwait’s first election since Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah assumed power late last year. Voters will select representatives from five electoral constituencies for the National Assembly’s 18th legislative term. 

The polls, the fourth since December 2020, will close at midnight local time, according to state news agency KUNA.
